Details

On 8 October 2011, student volunteers joined Deanna van Dijk in setting up for a new field season of dune research.  The group hauled equipment to the research site using sleds, backpacks and shoulders.

The team set up a wind instrument tower plus a shed with datalogger and solar panel to record the measurements.  After the morning set up, volunteers enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant before returning to campus.
