The Calvin College Geology department would like to extend our thanks to Ada Bible Church, the Grand Rapids Community, and all volunteers for helping support the mastodon project and making further research on the animal possible. The project was driven largely by people who selflessly gave up their time in order to help out. Special thanks is given to the Ada Bible Church, whose land the mastodon was found on. Just them allowing us to dig on their land was blessing enough, and they were also very supportive and accomodating throughout the entire summer.
