Research - People: Summer 2005


Melinda Campbell and Rob Vink held summer research positions working on projects in P.J. Hoffmaster State Park and the Ottawa County Parks 12 properties.

 

Melinda Campbell, an environmental geology major from Saginaw, MI, monitored dune activity in P.J. Hoffmaster State Park and developed interpretive materials and this website from research results.

 

Rob Vink, an environmental geology major from Visalia, CA, studied the geomorphology and human impacts on Mt. Pisgah, a large parabolic dune near Holland State Park in Holland, MI.

Melinda operates total station in summer 2005.

Rob establishes a survey point (summer 2005).
Rob holds the prism at a survey point while surveying with Melinda.
