Research Methods - Niveo-Aeolian Deposits


To investigate a niveo-aeolian deposit, we dig a pit and record the characteristics of the deposit, such as the sequence and thickness of layers.

We also observe and record the patterns of sand deposited on snow across the dunes during the winter.
