"Geology of the National Parks" explores the landscapes and geology beneath the surface of 48 national parks and monuments in the United States. Students will explore sets of parks grouped by geologic similarities:
For many parks, rock samples and maps are used to demonstrate how God built these wonders of nature. This course also includes discussions on stewardship vs. dominion, natural resource issues, and careers/volunteering in the national parks; laboratory exercises; and a final paper. |
