Irene Konyndyk's major area of teaching and scholarship is foreign language learning and learning disabilities. In 2001 she has developed a 3-course sequence (French 111-112-113) to meet the needs of at-risk students, helping them succeed at foreign language learning. The modified program is multisensory, structured, and has a large metacognitive component.
