| English Study Program Calvin College pursues high quality academic study shaped by the Reformed vision of the historic Christian faith. Through our learning we seek to be agents of renewal in the academy, church, and society. The English Study Program allows foreign students to be immersed in American culture while offering them the opportunity to take academic courses in English and improve their English speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills through course content. The Calvin English Study Program began in cooperation with Handong Global University in Pohang, South Korea. Joint decisions concerning academic course work and cultural experiences ensured that the program will benefit international students. Students will be challenged academically and supported in their studies by caring Calvin professors and tutors. The four-week institute will provide many opportunities for experiencing the language, culture, traditions, and beauty of Michigan and some of its surrounding area. The dates for the ESP Program this year are July 3-August 2, 2008. |
