John Leax
Poet and creative-nonfiction writer John Leax has published many books, including three volumes of poetry, a collection of nature essays, and several non-fiction works. He recently released The Tabloid News (2005), a collection of poems based on the bizarre and imaginative headlines of the tabloids; and Writing Home, a spiritual autobiography of sorts. Leax is an English professor and poet-in-residence at Houghton College, as well as a resident faculty member in Houghton's environment and culture program in Adirondack Park.
