ingrid hill
Known for the vivid relationships and characterizations in her stories, Ingrid Hill is the author of Dixie Church Interstate Blues (1989)—a short-story collection—and Ursula, Under (2004)—her first novel. She draws from a variety of cultures and locations for her work. Hill herself has resided in or spent time in many different places in the United States including New York, Louisiana, Michigan, and Washington, as well as in Sweden and China. She currently lives in Iowa with her twelve children.
