Mary Gordon
Mary Gordon has authored over ten books, including Final Payments (1978), Men and Angels (1985), The Other Side (1989), The Shadow Man: A Daughter's Search for Her Father (1997), Pearl (2005), and The Stories of Mary Gordon (2006). In addition, Gordon has produced several successful and lauded novellas, essays, short stories and non-fiction pieces. Her latest book, Circling My Mother (2007), is a memoir about her mother, their relationship, and her role as a daughter. Gordon is currently the McIntosh Professor of English at Barnard College.
