Diane Glancy
Diane Glancy is a prolific novelist, poet, and playwright. Her collection of poems, Primer of the Obsolete (2004), gained a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and the Juniper Prize. In 2005, she published three books—The Dance Partner, In Between Places, and Rooms: New and Selected Poems. In 2007 Glancy published a new collection of poems titled Asylum in the Grasslands. A professor of creative writing and Native American literature at Macalester College, she is currently on a four-year sabbatical/early retirement program. In 2008, she will hold the Richard Thomas Chair at Kenyon College in Ohio.
