david paterson
David Paterson is a screenwriter, producer, playwright, and actor. He has completed more than twenty-five full-length plays, one dozen one-act plays, and six screenplays. Paterson is a two-time finalist for the Actor Theater of Louisville's Ten-Minute Play Contest, a finalist for Sundance Institute's new play series, a winner of an ED Press Award as well as an Urban Stages Emerging Playwright Award. He produced and co-wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation of his mother's novel, Bridge to Terabithia. The film was released in February 2007. Paterson lives in New York.
