Hugh Cook
Hugh Cook, a writer of both short stories and novels, was born in the Netherlands and moved to British Columbia in 1950. He recently retired from full-time teaching and now lives in Hamilton, Ontario, where he spends most of his time writing and distracts himself by watching Toronto Blue Jays baseball games. His books include Cracked Wheat and Other Stories, The Homecoming Man, and Home in Alfalfa.
