festival 2008
The Festival of Faith & Writing is a biennial gathering of readers and writers hosted by Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1990. The goal of this event is to create a place where a diverse array of readers and writers can come together to participate in the ongoing discussion on how faith is represented in literature and how it plays out in our world today. For more information on why we do the Festival, see our mission statement.
The next Festival of Faith and Writing will take place on April 17-19, 2008. The registration cost is $165 for individuals who register by the end of February. (After that, the registration cost will be $180.) Student registration is $80. Scholarships are available for Calvin Honors students, Calvin Theological Seminary students, Calvin English majors and minors, and Calvin alumni. We also offer group discounts for specific groups that wish to attend Festival 2008.
