The Writing major or minor are a programs that allow you to explore the discipline of writing at greater depth. The major/minor includes courses in creative writing, business writing, non-fiction, poetry and journalism.

Written Rhetoric is a course in the foundational principles of reading and writing. A part of the core curriculum, you will likely take this course while at Calvin.

The Minnaar Awards are given every year to honor outstanding writing done for a Written Rhetoric course.
