One Book/One Department Book Announced!The One Book/One Department book for next year is Karen Russell's St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves. If you missed the spring picnic, you can still sign up and get your copy of the book in the English Department office!Adopt a Freshman!
Current Calvin students, please consider purchasing a copy of St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves ($5) for an incoming freshman English Major. You could even write a note in the front to welcome - and perhaps give words of advice and encouragement - to our new students from the class of 2017.
A welcome such as this by an upperclassman in the program can forge a connection between classes and create a stronger community within the department. Books are available at the front desk of the English Department.
