Transportation

By car: Calvin College is located in western Michigan, 160 miles west of Detroit and 30 miles east of the shoreline of Lake Michigan. For directions to Calvin's campus, click here. For a campus map and other information about visiting Calvin and Grand Rapids, click here.

By air: Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is located just 5 miles (about a 20 minute drive) from Calvin's campus. In arranging your flights, keep in mind that registration begins at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2 for the National Conference. The final session, the panel discussion and Q & A time with the presenters, will end by 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 4. Checkout from the Prince Conference Center must be done by 12:00 noon. Checkout from the other hotels is at 11:00 a.m. All of the hotels Calvin College will be using for this conference offer complimentary shuttle service to and from Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Hotels

Calvin College will reserve rooms for the first 100 registrants, and those not requesting single rooms or smoking rooms, at the Prince Conference Center on Calvin's campus.

Guests not staying at the Prince Conference Center will be offered shuttle service to and from Calvin's campus from a nearby hotel (at either the Residence Inn or Ramada Plaza). Times will be e-mailed to registrants and posted here as the event gets closer.
