Yann Martel
Yann Martel is the author of a collection of short stories titled The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios, as well as two novels: Self and Life of Pi, the latter of which received the 2002 Man Booker Prize. He also hosts a website— www.whatisstephenharperreading.ca—that details his project of sending thought-provoking books to the prime minister of Canada. He is currently working on a novel that portrays the Holocaust through allegory. Martel lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
