deborah brevoort
Deborah Brevoort is an award-winning playwright and musical theatre lyricist/librettist. Her numerous plays, including the musicals Coyote Goes Salmon Fishing and King Island Christmas, have been produced and enjoyed by audiences across the United States. Brevoort’s The Women of Lockerbie, which will be performed at Calvin during Festival 2008, is currently being produced overseas after winning the Onassis Competition and Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays Award. Brevoort teaches lyric writing at Columbia University and playwriting and production at the New School’s Eugene Lang College.
