Elizabeth Berg

Elizabeth Berg is a bestselling author of many novels, including ALA Books of the Year Durable Goods (1993) and Joy School (1997), as well as a work of nonfiction, Escaping into the Open: The Art of Writing True. In 1997, Berg was honored with the New England Booksellers Award. Her latest novel, Dream When You're Feeling Blue (2007), is a story of love and change in the times of World War II. A former nurse, Berg lives in Chicago.
