Roy Anker
Roy Anker is an English professor at Calvin College, where he teaches courses in film criticism and in American literature. Anker has published widely on the connections between faith and film. In 2004, he published a book-length study of fifteen films called Catching Light: Looking for God in the Movies. His forthcoming books include Of Pilgrim and Light: A Discussion Guide to Twenty Off-Beat Religious Films and Shining from Shook Foil: Knowing God in Films, both scheduled for release in 2010.
