Educational Background
Professor Fondse received his bachelor of arts from Calvin College in 1969. He went on to earn his MA from Michigan State University in 1978.
Academic Interests/Fields of Specialization
Rhetoric in cross-cultural settings (access to rhetorical discourse by disadvantaged demographics), Christian community development as part of the Sun Valley CARE Development organization in California, the literature (fiction and non-fiction) of Central California
Recent Activities
Professor Fondse serves as a mentor with the Calvin College Mentoring Program. He is also highly involved in academically-based service learning at Calvin. Beyond Calvin, he serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Sun Valley CARE Development, Inc.
