The majority of the Warner Drain is a legally established drain under the jurisdiction of the Kent County Drain Commission (KCDC). On June 7 and 8, 2008 a rainfall event dropped approximately 5 inches of storm water in 6 to 12 hours, this event equates to a 50 year to 100 year event. The runoff from this event overwhelmed portions of the Warner drain. Working in conjunction with the Kent County Drain Commission, the scope of this project is to model the Warner Drain using computer software and propose alternatives for a solution to the flooding problems.
