Adebo Alao

Adebo Alao

Adebo Alao was born in Lansing, Michigan. His family moved to Nigeria when he was two years old and he lived there for sixteen years before returning to the US for college. He plans to graduate with a B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical Concentration. After graduation Adebo plans to work for a year or two before returning to school to get his Masters in Aeronautical Engineering. Work experience includes an internship with Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

Joshua Harbert

Joshua Harbert

Joshua Harbert was born in the USA but spent most of his life in Nakuru, Kenya. He plans to graduate with a B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical Concentration and a Math Minor. His work experience includes internships with both Rapid-Line and with AIM TECH. He is currently pursuing employment in the Chicago area and after graduation, Joshua plans to get married to Sarah Dehoog and do engineering work full time. He hopes to be a blessing to the African people whom he loves dearly.

Mitch Kenyon

Mitch Kenyon

 Mitch Kenyon plans to graduate with a B.S. in Engineering, Chemical Concentration.  His work experience includes an internship in the Design Engineering Department for DC Cook Nuclear Power Plant.  After Graduation, Mitch will work for Albemarle as a Process Technology Engineer in the Pharmaceutical Pilot Plant Department.  Next year he will begin a Masters Degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering.

Christian Ocier

Christian Ocier

Christian Ocier was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. He plans to graduate with a B.S. in Engineering, Chemical Concentration and a B.S. in Chemistry. He is also taking language classes in Chinese and German. He is working with a chemistry research group this summer studying fluorescence and fluorine chemistry.  After graduation, Christian plans to further his education in chemistry and chemical engineering in the United States or Germany in the hopes of pursuing an international engineering career.

Fred Thielke

Fred Thielke

Fred Thielke was born in Ontario, Canada, but grew up in various parts of the Philippines.  He is planning to graduate from Calvin College in May 2008 with a B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical concentration, as well as a minor in International Development Studies.  After graduation, Fred is planning to work for the summer at a nuclear power plant near Detroit, and is hoping to get engaged to Helga Joshua.  He will then start a graduate program in International Business at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, in Monterey, California.  Work experience includes internships with the D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant and Decc Co., as well as teaching and teaching assistantships.
