Senior Design 04-05: Team 13

 

Today we beefed up the A-frame by adding flatbar cross members to keep it from bending under a side load and adding a larger diameter pipe to the top that forms the new swivel connection.

We also beefed up the pin joints on the base by adding second supports. These supports help eliminate much of the play in the crane that was caused by shifting pins.
