Senior Design 04-05: Team 1
This is the turret part of our prototype that houses a rotational motor which turns the whole upper assembly which then in turn can face forwards or backwards depending on where the computer is picking up more motion. The pan/tilt controller moves the water solenoid on top which is used to turn on and off the water when we so choose. The webcam is mounted right below that which is used to track the motion that it sees.
The panel above contains our electrical components which drive our project. At the top of the panel there is a printed circuit board that has all of our digital logic and isolator circuits on it. We also have solid state relays for driving our rotational motor and terminal blocks for ease of wiring. Since water and electronics do not mix, we also have fusing and the panel is watertight.
