The team is composed of four engineering students in their senior year at Calvin College. Their work is being done during 2003-2004 as part of a year-long Senior Design Project that is the capstone of Calvin College's engineering program.

Sharon Abraham
—Major: Engineering with a concentration in electrical & computer.
—Interests: Renewable Energy
—Project Focus: instrumentation and educational material.
Jordan Hoogendam
—Major: Engineering with a concentration on mechanical.
—Interests: This past summer he did research investigating the effects on efficiency and life of photovoltaic panels due to forced air cooling
—Project Focus: integration of the photovoltaic system to the Interpretive Center
Clint Reitsma
—Major: Engineering with a concentration on Mechanical.
—Interests: Computer Science
—Project Focus: Datalogger system to store instrumentation data about the photovoltaic panels.
Sam Schoofs
—Interests: This past summer he did research in conjunction with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory investigating new high-efficiency photovoltaic material for use on satellites intended for Mars orbit.
