This course includes several opportunities for personal travel.

There are three open weekends in the schedule. Students are free to travel on these weekends.  Many have taken weekend trips by train to Brussels, Antwerp, and  Paris (on the high speed train).  Some have gone as far as Berlin, Zurich, Rome or London.  Others spend time visiting Dutch relatives or many of the fine museums in the Netherlands. 

The last open day is a good time to see some the local sites missed on the weekends. It is also a good time to finish the souvenir shopping.
