University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1999
Dr. Jennifer VanAntwerp completed her M.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1997 and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1999, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While serving as a teaching assistant in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, she completed a Graduate Teaching Certificate and earned an Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.
Professional experience
She has worked at Amway, IBM, and Pfizer, and continues to consult with Pfizer. Dr. Van Antwerp’s area of special interest is biotechnology, particularly protein engineering. She began teaching at Calvin College in1999.
