It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Quadcopter!
Engineering students at Calvin College were recently challenged during a three-week only course to design and make quadcopters. These devices are designed to be unmanned and remote-controlled. One unique device that students got to use, was a new 3D printer which actually produces acrylic parts and pieces. Fox 17 had the coverage as they visited the campus of Calvin College to view this first-hand. See the video below for the story.

Engineering Alumni Leaves a Basketball Legacy
As well as succeeding on the court, Mantel also can boast of a strong academic record. An engineering major, he will be working full time for ControlNet in Ann Arbor, Mich., upon his graduation. He is currently part of a team of five students working on a senior design project that involves modifying a 12-horse power engine.
