at Christian Colleges and Universities
Many of our readers are on the faculty of engineering departments at
Christian colleges and universities. Many other readers are graduates
of these programs. A simple list
of engineering programs at Christian colleges and universities is
available on the CES website. However, we would like to begin a series
of articles highlighting one of these programs each month, providing more
in-depth descriptions. What would you like to see in these articles? What
is important to know about a program? If you have some suggestions for
interview questions, or if you would like to volunteer to write the article
for your institution, please contact the editor, Steve

Christian Engineering Education
The next Christian Engineering Education Conference will be on June 21-23,
2006, immediately following ASEE.
We will begin on Wednesday evening, June 21 with a fellowship dinner and
worship time. We will finish with lunch on Friday, June 23. Our keynote
speaker this year will be Dr. Peter
J. Bosscher, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the
University of Wisconsin - Madison. He will be speaking on the topic
"Engineering for Shalom." If you are a Christian and an engineer,
want to learn more about what it means to be a Christian enginer, you
need to come to this conference!
The conference will be held on the campus of Olivet
located in Bourbonnais, Illinois (about 50 minutes south of Chicago).
trip transportation from Chicago will be available. Cost of the conference
(including lodging, meals, and registration fee, but not transportation)
be $120. Registration forms, other pricing options, info for families,
transportation details, the keynote abstract, and more are now available
on the CEEC website.
We could still use some additional reviewers. Also, we need some help
the worship time on Wednesday evening -- we could use some instrumentalists
and readers. If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Steve
VanderLeest. Even if you cannot serve as a reviewer or as part of
our worship team, certainly pray for the conference, that it may glorify
God and edify His saints working in the field of engineering.
