Christian Engineering Education Conference (CEEC) ======================================= Christians engaged in engineering education or other engineering activities are invited to gather for a time of discussion, learning, reflection, and fellowship on June 23-25, 2004, at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Fifth Christian Engineering Education Conference (CEEC) is planned to immediately follow the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) conference (June 20-23). We will seek to deepen our insights and strengthen our collective outreach and witness as we engage in structured conversations about engineering education and the engineering profession from a Christian perspective. The program will be a diverse mix of presented papers and panel discussions on a variety of topics relating Christian faith and engineering. You can find information about the conference, including a Call for Papers and a Registration Form on the CEEC web site: http://engr.calvin.edu/ces/ceec. Sharing rooms for ASEE ====================== Christian Engineering Education colleagues, We have an opportunity to save significant housing costs by sharing hotel rooms at the upcoming ASEE conference. I am looking for one or more people to share a room with. If any men are interested, please reply to me via email (matthew-green@mail.utexas.edu), indicating: * Which nights you need a room (the conference is Sunday June 20th - Weds 23rd) * How many people you would like to share with (double, triple, of quadruple occupancy) * If you have a preference among the hotels listed below. I plan to be there the 20th-23rd, and then attend the CEEC conference. This is also an opportunity for a little additional networking, and perhaps coordinating transportation to the CEEC conference to follow.
