Brett Nicholson will be graduating with a B.S.
in Engineering with a concentration in Civil
and Environmental Engineering and a
Business minor. He is from Mt. Hagen, Papua
New Guinea where his parents serve
as missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Brett had the opportunity to return to Papua New Guinea this summer to intern with InterOil, an oil and natural gas exploration company. His plan is to return to PNG and work as a civil engineer for InterOil after graduation.
Josiah Dobson is a civil engineering major and
mathematics minor at Calvin College. Although he was
born in Chicago,
Illinois he actually grew up in Turkey,
where his parents were missionaries for 17 years. He
has four wonderful younger brothers and loves to play
sports and mess around with computers in his free time. After graduating from Calvin, Josiah plans on studying at Moody Theological Seminary in preparation for work on the mission field.
Travis lived ten years growing up in Costa Rica and Mexico
as a missionary kid. He lived in Beloit, Wisconsin during his
high school years. Currently, Travis is a senior Civil
Engineering student at Calvin College. Last summer, Travis worked at Clearwater Construction Company doing various construction projects. According to Travis, “What I like best about this project is the ability to tie together my civil engineering major with doing mission work.”
