Teacher Commissioning Ceremony

We give thanks and praise to God for permitting another group of students to complete their Teacher Education Programs through Calvin College . We rejoice with students and families as they celebrate this milestone in their lives. We will honor those who plan to complete their Teacher Education Programs as of May, August, or December of 2008.

You are invited to celebrate and recognize this wonderful accomplishment at the 13th annual Teacher Commissioning Ceremony, Friday, May 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Calvin College Fine Arts Center (FAC). Students will plan to meet in the Green Room behind the FAC at 7:00 p.m. The graduates will process in together and sit in a special section reserved for those being honored at this ceremony. Parents and other family members will be directed to sit in General Seating.

We look forward to seeing you at this ceremony and experiencing together the great things God has done in our students' lives and in teacher education at Calvin College . Our ceremony lasts approximately one hour. Following the ceremony, please join your graduate for refreshments and fellowship at various designated locations throughout the Fine Arts Center. We anticipate a celebratory time with students, families, and faculty.
