Calvin alumni report that the Calvin degree qualifies them to teach in independent schools. In order to teach in public schools, additional classes are required.
A Canadian history course is required for all elementary teachers and secondary social studies teachers. Calvin does not currently offer a Canadian history course, so this requirement will most likely need to be met through a Canadian college or university.
