Our department frequently offers off-campus and international Interim Term courses that can serve as an elective course in a student’s economics major.
The college sponsors a number of semester-abroad programs that have served economics students well, but we want to especially bring this program to the attention of our majors and minors:
The Chicago Semester (formerly known as the Chicago Metropolitan Center) program offers qualified juniors and seniors with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.5 the opportunity to gain a semester's credit through studying and working in Chicago. Students participate in seminars at CS's Loop Center and spend four days a week in an internship related to their career interest and academic major.
