Professor of Economics
Professor Tiemstra received a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and a Ph.D. in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has authored two books, including Economics: A Developmental Approach, an introductory textbook, and numerous articles. Prof. Tiemstra is President of the Association for Social Economics, is a member of the American Economics Association and the Association of Christian Economics, and is on the editorial board for Faith and Economics.
