Several study-abroad programs in the Netherlands are available to the Calvin College student.

Calvin College students may apply to the study abroad programs of Central College (Iowa) or Netherlandic Spice — Dordt College (Iowa). Calvin College students receiving financial aid at Calvin may apply that aid toward these other intuition's programs:

Study in Leiden. You have various options regarding length of stay.

Netherlandic S.P.I.C.E. Dordt College
Study in Zwolle. Program endorsed by the Christian Coalition of Colleges.

James Boswell Institute
For students wishing to enroll in an intensive language study program, the James Boswell Institute (JBI) of the Universiteit Utrecht is recommended. JBI offers intensive courses (12 hours per week) at all levels. Since Calvin College has no official exchange program with JBI, course credit for Calvin College must be worked out with Prof. De Vries on an individual basis.
