Jubilee Fellows serve across North America
Jubilee Fellows serve for 10 weeks during the summer in outstanding teaching congregations. We match students with the internship sites, taking into consideration the individual interests of the Jubilee Fellows and the needs of the churches. Their internship responsibilities can include:
- planning summer programs
- preaching
- teaching
- making pastoral visits
- planning and leading worship
- and much more
A pastor or other full-time staff member from each church commits to mentoring the student, encouraging his or her personal, professional and spiritual growth. The summer internships are often the highlight of the Jubilee Fellows' experience.
"I always had an idea that I wanted to go into ministry, but this summer's internship affirmed that calling. It was amazing to see how God could use me in ways that I didn't think possible." -Michael Bailey, 2008 Jubilee Fellow
"It was both an unforgettable summer, and a summer that helped me solidify my decision to pursue seminary post-Calvin." -Jessica Driesenga, 2008 Jubilee Fellow

In the sidebar (right) you'll find a list of the 2009 Fellows and where they are serving this summer.
Browse the churches' Web sites to get a feel for the types of communities in which the students serve. We have a few churches who have hosted students for many years, because they provide such an outstanding experience for our Jubilee Fellows; but we are also open to exploring new internship sites each year, based on the interests of our Jubilee Fellows.
