The Theater, recently restored, was built in the late 3rd Century BC
in the time of Pyrrhus. It was rebuilt by Philip the V after the
Aetolians destroyed it in 219 BC. It was later converted into an arena
during the time of Augustus. The skene's facade had a stoa as well as
an arch leading to the center of the stage.
The Stadium was built in the 3rd century BC against the western wall of the Theater.
