The xystos, a covered stoa, was located on the upper terrace.
Here, the athletes could exercise and train indoors during rainy or
extremely hot weather. In the photos below, it is the area closer
to the terrace wall, marked by the ruins of the stoa.
The paradromis was an outdoor track used by the athletes during
good weather. It was located in the area directly along side of the
xystos.
