These fragments are from the west pediment of the Archaic Temple of Apollo, depicting the Gigantomachy. Made of Parian marble, the sculptures of the east pediment of the Archaic temple of Apollo depict Apollo's arrival at Delphi. In the center are Apollo, Leto, and Artemis. This winged victory (Nike), in motion, originates from the central acroterium of the Archaic temple of Apollo. A statue of Apollo from the 4th Century temple pediment.
