ACE Glow-in-the-Dark Science: 2008

Glow-in-the-Dark Science Camp

One weeklong summer camp, 1:00-4:00 p.m., during the week of July 14 to July 18, 2008 - five sessions. The camp is designed for students who are entering grades 8-10. This camp program features demonstrations and many hands-on experiments designed to teach about light, color and the many ways to generate light in a way that is fun and visually stimulating. Scientific understanding and instrumentation will be emphasized. This camp has been titled Light and Luminescence in previous years. The camp is directed by Prof. Mark Muyskens of Calvin College.

Fee and Registration
A $185 camp fee covers instruction, camp materials, an optics tool kit to take home and a camp T-shirt. Enrollment in this session will be limited to 12. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. Contact an Administrative Assistant in the Science Division Office, for additional information or registration forms.
