News: ALCON HIRES ACT ONE EXECUTIVE PROGRAM GRAD

Act One Executive Program alumnus Joel Veenstra has accepted a position as the Assistant to the VP of Development at Alcon Entertainment (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Racing Stripes, Insomnia). Joel was originally placed in Alcon's development department for his Executive Program internship. Joel joins fellow Executive Program alumnus Carl Rogers, who recently accepted a position at Alcon Entertainment as the Executive Assistant to the Presidents.

Out of the 15 students who attended the inaugural 2005 Executive Program, 10 are now working in strategic positions within the industry. Positions held
by alumni include development executives and two talent agency assistants.

With three students returning to fulltime studies, the remaining candidates
have secured interviews with high profile companies like UPN, Warner Bros.,
and Paramount.
