Overview

Join us for a new telling of the ancient tale of David, using only the text of Scripture. Follow the stories of Saul, David, Michal, Jonathan, Goliath, Abigail, Bathsheba, Tamar, and Absalom, and ask yourself, "Who is the king?" and "What does it mean for God to keep covenant with God's people?" Interspersed within these stories are new compositions of favorite Psalms including 23, 51 and 139.

(Based on the inclusion of 2 Samuel 11 and 13 as well as some theatrical violence, this production may not be appropriate for some children.)

This production is in conjunction with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship Symposium: http://worship.calvin.edu/.
