Overview
First produced in 1905, The Return of the Prodigal presents us with a prodigal son who returns home and declares himself incapable of working. Is this a choice he is making, or is it his unalterable nature? And what is to be down with him? The attempts of his family and friends to deal with these problems and find answers to them make for an endearing and delightful comedy of manners. This is a rare production of one of the theatre’s lost treasures.
