359 Internship in Business (4). Internships involve a minimum of ten to fifteen hours of work a week in a professional setting with an approved employer-supervisor in business or nonprofit organizations. Academic work involves readings, online discussion, reflective journals, and a paper/presentation. For business majors the internship must be in the student’s area of business concentration in order to meet that concentration’s requirements.
Prerequisites: Business 160, Business 203 and approval of both the internship professor and the internship coordinator.
