Purpose, Goals & Vision

With the aim of setting the bar in terms of objectives, the Business department seeks to provide a leading business program among Christian liberal arts colleges in the Untied States. With a focus on relevent knowledge, skills and virtues, the department provides a map of these elements and their commitment within the context of the following statements:

Purpose:

To prepare students to be agents of renewal in business, by means of an excellent business curriculum rooted in a Reformed understanding of historic Christianity

Goal:

To construct a program in business that is academically rigorous, relevant to current business practice, and imbued with a mature Reformed Christian perspective, in order to develop students who have essential business knowledge, skills and virtues and who are prepared to take transformational leadership roles in business and society

Vision:

To be a place where the Christian community prepares...
to lead the transformation of business...

according to God's purposes.
