Michigan University (1970) and Certified Public Accountant (1974). Prof.
Slager teaches accounting classes. His primary research interests include
mergers and acquisitions, public school funding and financing reform,
and pedagogy as it applies to accounting. Prior to coming to Calvin, Prof.
Slager worked in private industry as a CPA and treasurer for a manufacturing
company.
