We visited Zhongxin (ZTE) in Nanjing. They are a large manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, making things like cell phones, switches, networks, etc. etc. They sell this all over the world. Selling cell phones to developed nations and infrastructure to developing nations. The clients are mostly cell phone service providers like ATT, Verizon, Vodaphone, etc. They also sell products that help their clients do the real time billing of calls. Also provide technology for other content on cell phones, like news, video, etc. We learned alot about this industry. Of course it has grown rapidly the past 15 years but the ZTE professional we meet with think it will continue to grow rapidly.
